Refunds & Cancellations
We want you to be happy with what you receive. This policy explains your rights to cancel, return or get a refund. It sits alongside, and does not reduce, your statutory rights as a consumer in the EU/EEA.
1. Physical goods — 14-day right to change your mind
For standard physical items bought online (for example a mala, incense or a cushion), you may cancel and return the item within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason, under the EU right of withdrawal. To use this right, tell us within 14 days (see "How to ask" below) and return the item within 14 days of telling us.
- Items should be returned unused and in their original condition and packaging where possible.
- We refund the price of the item and standard outbound delivery within 14 days of receiving the item back (or proof you've sent it). We may reduce the refund if an item shows handling beyond what's needed to check it.
- You pay the cost of return postage unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong thing.
2. Made-to-order and personalised items
Items that are hand-made to order or personalised for you — for example a Meru yantra or Vastu piece commissioned within a consultation — are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU law, because they are made to your specification. We will of course still put right anything that arrives faulty or not as described (see section 7).
3. Digital downloads (audio, PDF, courses)
For digital products delivered by download or instant access, you agree at checkout that delivery begins immediately and that you therefore lose the 14-day right of withdrawal once the download/access has started. If a digital file is faulty or won't open, contact us and we'll fix it or refund it.
4. Consultations, readings and Vastu (appointments)
Because a reading is prepared specifically for you and your time is reserved:
- You may reschedule or cancel up to [[NOTICE — e.g. 48 hours]] before the appointment for a full refund or free reschedule.
- Within [[NOTICE]] of the appointment, or for a no-show, the fee may be non-refundable, as the time was held for you and preparation may have begun.
- If a reading has already been fully delivered, it is not refundable (you may begin a service within the cancellation period only if you ask us to, and you acknowledge the right to withdraw is lost once it is fully performed).
- If we need to move an appointment, you may always choose a free reschedule or a full refund.
5. Yoga / meditation memberships
Memberships renew automatically each period. You can cancel at any time, and your access continues until the end of the period already paid; we don't charge you again after you cancel. We don't generally refund part-used periods unless required by law or if we've made a mistake. To cancel, [[HOW TO CANCEL — e.g. email us, or use the link in your billing receipt]].
6. Pilgrimages (yatras)
Pilgrimage journeys are arranged individually and involve costs we commit in advance (such as accommodation and local arrangements). Any deposit, balance due dates and cancellation terms will be set out in writing when you book a specific journey, and those journey-specific terms apply.
7. Faulty, damaged or wrong items
If something arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us within a reasonable time. You are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate, and we will cover the cost of return and re-delivery. This is in addition to the rights above.
8. How to ask for a cancellation or refund
Email us at [[CONTACT_EMAIL]] with your order or booking reference and what you'd like to do. You may use the following wording for the EU right of withdrawal on goods:
"I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the sale of the following goods: [item], ordered on [date], received on [date]. Name: [your name]. Address: [your address]. Date: [date]."
Refunds are made to your original payment method. Card refunds are processed via our payment provider and may take a few business days to appear.
